Dual WhatsApp: How to use two accounts on one Android phone

You can use WhatsApp with two different accounts on the same phone. Instant messaging application is one of the most popular applications in the world. This allows you to send or call another WhatsApp user as long as they have an internet connection, anywhere in the world. The Facebook-owned app is free to download for Android and Apple users and can be used on mobile phones or desktops. However, there are some limitations to the usage, i.e. only the WhatsApp account can be used for the phone number. However, most manufacturers allow users to set up two versions of the same app on their Android smartphones,

Manufacturers including Xiaomi, Samsung, Vivo, Oppo, Huawei, Honor, OnePlus and RealMe allow its users to set up dual applications or affiliate applications or dual applications. They use different terms for a feature that allows users to have two separate versions of the same application, thus allowing two different applications. Xiaomi phone users running MIUI can go Settings > Applications > Dual applications. Samsung phone users can go Settings > Progress features > Dual Ambassador. Vivo users can go Settings > Applications and Announcements > Application clone. Oppo phone users can tap Settings > Application cloner. Hawaii and Honor phone users can go Settings > Applications > Application dual. OnePlus allows its users to move towards clone applications Settings > Applications > Co-applications. Finally, RealMe users can go Settings > Application management > Application cloner.

Now, here is how to use two WhatsApp accounts on one Android smartphone.

How To Use Dual WhatsApp On A Smartphone

  1. To run a second account on WhatsApp, go to Settings.

  2. Look for dual applications, application clone, application dual or parallel applications. The name of the feature depends on the smartphone you are using.

  3. There should be a transition against the WhatsApp app, run it.

  4. Wait for the process to finish and return to the home screen.

  5. Identify the second version of the same application, in which you should see a second WhatsApp icon with some sort of identification.

  6. Open it and you will be greeted by the WhatsApp setup screen.

  7. Tap Agree and proceed.

  8. On the next screen, type in another phone number from the phone you already used to set up WhatsApp Next.

  9. You will receive an OTP for verification.

  10. After entering the OTP, you will be asked to complete the setup process, after which a second WhatsApp account will be set up.

There are now two WhatsApp accounts on the same smartphone.
