How to register for the COVID-19 vaccine via the Paytm App: Follow these steps

Looking for an easy way to register for the COVID-19 vaccine? You can use Paytm. The Paytm application will help you to register for the COVID-19 vaccine in a few simple steps. Paytm – commonly used for mobile recharge, bill payment or offline payment – has emerged as one of the first third-party solutions to enable COVID-19 vaccine bookings through the Govin portal. It can also be used to locate and register sites for both covaxin and covi shield vaccines. You can also choose whether you want to register a vaccine for people 18-44 years of age or older.

Paytm for Android and iOS devices offers vaccine discovery in its application with the option of booking the COVID-19 vaccine. The company has alienated the government’s latest update to Govt’s guidelines for implementing the new experience.

How to register for COVID-19 vaccine via Paytm application

Below are the steps on how to register for the COVID-19 vaccine through Paytm. But before you get started, it is recommended that you install the latest version of the Paytm app on your device. To book vaccination sites you must pre-register on the Govt portal.

  1. Open the Paytm app and scroll through the home screen to find the vaccine finder.

  2. Enter your zip code on the Vaccine Slot Finder screen. You can also search for the nearest vaccination center by switching to Search by district desire.

  3. Select the age at which you want to register for the vaccine.

  4. Choose whether you want the first dose or the second dose.

  5. Tap Registration Button. Paytm will ask you to enter your mobile number that you want to use in CoWIN.

  6. You will now receive a one-time password (OTP) that you must enter on the screen to proceed with your booking.

  7. Once the OTP is entered, the application will now show you the available centers and locations at your selected location. You can switch between free and paid locations and filter locations with Covshield – depending on their availability. Also, if none of your locations are available, the app will show you one Notify me when places are available Press the button that allows you to receive notifications when a new slot becomes available in your area.

  8. Now, you can find places where you can select the appropriate one by tapping Registration.

  9. You must now add a new user to the vaccine Add new ones. The application will ask you to select the user’s photo ID, source ID number, full name, year of birth and gender. Ft Submit.

  10. The application will now allow you to choose between the available times at the vaccination center of your choice. Select one from the list and press Now the table.

Paytm will issue you an appointment ticket once you complete the booking process. You must show that slip at the time of vaccination.
